Nigerian music icon, Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has publicly expressed his admiration for Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, amid his ongoing divorce drama with his wife, Annie Idibia. In a video posted on his Instagram on Wednesday, 2Face revealed his affection for Osawaru, even sharing his intention to marry her.
The controversy surrounding their relationship intensified after 2Face was seen at the Edo State Assembly on Monday, followed by a video of the two at a Lagos club. In the video, he addressed the rumors head-on: “So, allegedly, I’ve been seeing a lot of false narratives, malicious nonsense, and people who don’t have the faintest clue about what’s going on. And yes, I posted it, and anyone with common sense would understand. But to all the people spreading these lies, I salute you. Your life must be perfect.”
2Face also defended Osawaru, who had been unfairly labeled a “homewrecker.” He clarified, “Hon. Natasha has been dragged into this and called all sorts of names. She is a brilliant, amazing young woman, and she had absolutely nothing to do with the issues between me and Annie.”
Emphasizing his feelings, 2Face continued, “Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool, and I want to marry her.”
He ended the video by humorously suggesting that authorities should step in to curb the spread of unfounded allegations online.
