Kumasi, Ashanti Region – Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running mate to NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence in securing 85% of the presidential vote in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking at the launch of the NPP campaign team in the region, NAPO highlighted the party’s track record of surpassing expectations and defying political commentators.
He cited the party’s achievements in the region, including road projects, school projects, and other infrastructural facilities, as reasons for his optimism.
“We are confident that our achievements in the Ashanti Region, combined with our robust campaign strategy, will earn us the desired 85% vote,” NAPO said.
NAPO urged supporters to honor President Akufo-Addo’s leadership by supporting the NPP at the polls.
The Manhyia South Constituency MP emphasized the party’s plans for a vigorous door-to-door campaign nationwide, leveraging young and invigorating candidates who have proven themselves in service.
Although some individuals may be dissatisfied, NAPO believes the government’s overall achievements will secure the desired 85% vote in the Ashanti Region.
With NAPO’s confident outlook and the party’s robust campaign strategy, the NPP is poised for a strong showing in the Ashanti Region.
