President Bola Tinubu held a high-level meeting on Thursday in Paris with Massad Boulos, Senior Advisor for Africa at the U.S. State Department.
According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the talks centered on strengthening regional security, with a focus on stabilizing eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The two also discussed expanding economic collaboration across the continent.
Onanuga described the meeting as a reflection of the growing diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and the United States under Tinubu’s leadership.
“Massad Boulos met with President Tinubu to discuss regional security and economic opportunities across Africa,” Onanuga shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
