President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria hosted Ghana’s President John Mahama at the State House in Abuja on Thursday.
This marks Mahama’s first official visit to Nigeria since his inauguration on January 7, 2025.
During the visit, both leaders discussed ways to enhance diplomatic relations between the two nations, particularly in trade, security, and regional issues within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
After Tinubu’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, he visited Mahama in Accra to congratulate him on his win and the inauguration.
