President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new aides to support Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Mr. Temitola Adekunle-Johnson has been appointed as Special Adviser to the President on Job Creation & MSME, while Mrs. Uju Anwuka will serve as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Health.
According to a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the VP on Media and Communication, the appointments are in continuation of efforts to actualize the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration, especially in the respective sectors.
Both officials have previously served in similar capacities within the Vice President’s office. Adekunle-Johnson has driven policies and programs in job creation and MSME development, including the Expanded National MSME Clinics and Shared Facility Initiative.
Anwuka has anchored the administration’s vision in combating malnutrition and hunger, particularly in vulnerable communities, and oversaw the launch of the Nutrition 774 Initiative.
The appointments take immediate effect.
With these appointments, President Tinubu has demonstrated his commitment to delivering on his campaign promises and driving economic growth and development in Nigeria.
